Schneider Electric Invests in Dash Electric to Accelerate EV-Based Logistics in Indonesia
November 27, 2024

Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia has joined Dash Electric’s funding round, marking another important milestone in Dash’s mission to accelerate electric vehicle adoption in Indonesia’s logistics sector.
Dash Electric is an Indonesian EV-as-a-Service startup built specifically for logistics. Through its electric fleet, managed driver network, and technology-enabled operations, Dash helps businesses transition toward cleaner and more efficient delivery infrastructure.
The investment will support Dash Electric in scaling its operations, expanding its electric vehicle fleet, and building the infrastructure needed to meet rising demand for sustainable logistics solutions in Indonesia.
With this funding, Dash aims to accelerate the transition toward clean energy in logistics, particularly across e-commerce, retail, and food sectors. The company is focused on making EV adoption easier for both businesses and drivers, while contributing to a lower-carbon logistics future for Indonesia.
Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia joined the round alongside other investors including The Radical Fund, Bali Investment Club, Aksara Ventures, Antler, and Kevin Aluwi, Co-Founder of Gojek.
The investment also reflects Schneider Electric’s broader commitment to electrification, digitalization, and clean energy access across Asia. Dash’s logistics electrification model aligns with Schneider Electric Energy Access Asia’s focus on inclusive, innovative, global, and local solutions that can support the transition toward low-carbon infrastructure.
Indonesia’s transportation sector remains one of the country’s major sources of emissions. In 2022, the sector produced around 150 million tons of CO₂ equivalent emissions, with motorcycles contributing 36.1%, or around 54.1 million tons. This makes logistics electrification a critical opportunity for reducing emissions while improving operational efficiency.
For Dash Electric, the support from Schneider Electric and other investors strengthens its ability to build one of Indonesia’s leading EV logistics infrastructures. By combining electric vehicles, operational management, and real-time visibility, Dash is helping businesses move toward logistics that are not only more sustainable, but also more scalable and cost-efficient.
As demand for greener logistics continues to grow, Dash Electric is positioned to play a key role in helping companies decarbonize delivery operations without adding operational complexity.
