Dash Electric Launches EV Van Logistics Service for Medium-Scale Distribution

July 3, 2025

Dash Electric has officially launched its EV Van logistics service, expanding its electric vehicle-based logistics operations into medium-scale distribution.

The new service was developed to meet the growing demand from businesses for logistics solutions that are more efficient, scalable, and sustainable. The launch marks the next phase of Dash Electric’s service expansion, after previously operating electric motorcycle fleets for last-mile delivery across e-commerce, retail, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage sectors.

“Our clients have experienced the efficiency and brand visibility benefits of using two-wheel EV delivery. Now, they need a solution for larger-scale delivery without compromising their sustainability values. We are answering that need through our EV Van service,” said Robert Mulianto, Co-Founder and COO of Dash Electric.

Addressing Emissions and Efficiency Challenges in Logistics

The launch of Dash’s EV Van service comes as industries increasingly seek distribution systems that are faster, more cost-efficient, and lower in carbon emissions.

According to data from Indonesia’s Ministry of National Development Planning / Bappenas, the transportation sector contributes more than 23% of national carbon emissions. At the same time, Indonesia’s logistics costs remain around 23–27% of total company operating costs, significantly higher than the average in other ASEAN countries.

“Logistics in Indonesia is undergoing a transformation. Companies are no longer only pursuing efficiency, but are also facing growing pressure from consumers and investors to become greener. Dash is here to answer both needs at once,” Robert said.

Dash’s EV Van service is designed for various medium-scale distribution needs, including B2B delivery, food and beverage distribution, retail and FMCG restocking, brand activation, and nationwide operational support.

The service has already been adopted by several Dash clients, showing that the transition toward electric vehicle-based logistics is no longer just a concept, but is already taking place in real operations on the ground.

Building an Integrated Green Logistics Ecosystem

Dash Electric is not simply providing electric vehicles. The company is building an integrated logistics ecosystem that combines EV fleets, drivers, operational technology, and real-time visibility.

With an asset-light approach and technology-enabled operations, Dash provides an end-to-end solution that helps companies improve efficiency while supporting Indonesia’s national carbon reduction goals.

Beyond vehicles and drivers, Dash also provides operational monitoring dashboards, real-time tracking system integration, and specialized training for electric vehicle drivers.

Through this approach, Dash Electric is not only following the EV logistics trend, but positioning itself as a scalable green logistics provider and helping accelerate electric vehicle adoption in Indonesia’s logistics sector.
